This Is Me
I’ve worked as a web developer and website designer for over 10 years, and am pleased to say I enjoy it more now than ever. Having seen the way web technologies have changed and affected change, I view it as one of the most exciting and creative fields to work in.
As a web professional I’m focused on the creative and functional aspects that demonstrate excellence in web development.
I am the author of “Object-Oriented Programming in ColdFusion” and “PhoneGap Cookbook” (soon to be released). I am a regular contributor to industry magazines .net and Web Designer, and am also the development panel expert for .net Magazine, answering readers questions on a monthly basis.
I was incredibly honoured to have been shortlisted for the .net Magazine 2011 net awards under the “Developer of the Year” category, and have been shortlisted for the 2012 Critter awards from ubelly.com, under the “Next Big Thing” category. That must mean my forehead.
I am a consultant developer for the immense Gorilla Works, based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, and am currently contracted to the BBC to work on some special homepage projects and to ensure the licence fees are being spent wisely (on coffee).
When I’m not in front of screens I play the odd acoustic gig, spend time with my family and revisit everything I enjoyed in the 80′s.
